HOUSTON, Texas — The Houston Dynamo delivered a thrilling performance at Shell Energy Stadium, defeating Real Salt Lake 2-1 behind two spectacular goals in the second half.

The match started with both teams battling for control, but neither side could break through during the opening 45 minutes. Houston created chances but couldn’t find the finishing touch, while Real Salt Lake remained organized defensively.

Guilherme Opens the Scoring

The Dynamo came out of halftime with a different level of intensity. Houston pushed forward and eventually found the breakthrough through Guilherme. The Brazilian unleashed a banger, sending a powerful shot into the net and giving Houston a 1-0 lead. His 13th goal of the season gave the home crowd something to celebrate and appeared to put the Dynamo in control.

But Real Salt Lake quickly responded.

RSL Levels the Match

Real Salt Lake continued to fight and eventually found the equalizer, making it 1-1.

With the match tied, the pressure returned to Houston. The Dynamo needed another big moment if they wanted all three points.

Bogusz Delivers Another Banger

That moment came from Mateusz Bogusz. With the match heading toward its final minutes, Bogusz finally stepped up and produced another spectacular strike, beating the RSL goalkeeper and putting Houston back in front 2-1.

Two goals. Two bangers.

The Dynamo then had to survive the final minutes as Real Salt Lake pushed forward searching for another equalizer. Houston stayed organized, fought for every ball and held onto the lead until the final whistle.

Dynamo Get the Three Points

The final whistle confirmed a huge 2-1 Houston Dynamo victory.

After a scoreless first half, Houston turned up the intensity and produced two outstanding goals to secure the win. Guilherme opened the scoring before Bogusz delivered the late winner, giving the Dynamo and their supporters a finish to remember.

It was a night defined by resilience, attacking quality and, most importantly, two absolute bangers to relief their two-game scoring drought.
