Houston Dash announce preseason roster update
The Dash announced that defenders Megan Dunnigan and Alli Murphy have joined the team as non-roster invitees in time for Houston's trip to Portland for the 2018 Thorns Invitational.
Dunnigan and Murphy participated in the club's tryouts last month. Dunnigan made her professional debut in Iceland recently while Murphy was drafted by the Washington Spirit in the 2016 NWSL College Draft.

Note: Corey Roepken reported that midfielder Lotta Okvist has reported to preseason camp after sorting out her visa situation, and defender Kimberly Keever will join the Dash in their preseason trip to Portland after finishing her final semester in college.

Houston Dash sign midfielder Meleana Shim
The Dash announced the return of 'Mana' Shim to Houston. After being traded by Houston during the 2014 NWSL Expansion Draft, the midfielder returns to NWSL after four years with the Portland Thorns and roughly a year with Vaxjo DFF in Sweden.
Shim made 74 appearances with the Thorns, scored nine goals, and recorded nine assists in Portland's 2013 NWSL championship-winning campaign.
The midfielder will join Houston in time for the 2018 Thorns Invitational.

Houston Dynamo defender Adolfo Machado named to Panama National Team roster for pre-World Cup friendlies
Panama National Team head coach Hernan Dario Gomez announced the 24 players that will travel to Europe to face Denmark and Switzerland in preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Dynamo defender Adolfo Machado was among the names listed.
Machado was voted the team's Defensive Player of the Year and Ironman of the Year last year, playing a key part in Houston's impressive return to playoffs and almost seeing minutes in every match last season.
Panama's friendlies will take place on Thursday, March 22 and Tuesday, March 27.

Houston Dynamo sign homegrown eMLS competitor Guillermo “Memo” Treviño
The Dynamo announced the signing of 'Memo' Treviño, also known as Kid M3mito, as the club's first esports athlete.
The Houston native is currently ranked along the Top 50 best FIFA players in the world and he is ranked Top 15 in the Americas. He qualified for last year's Ultimate Team Championship Series in Berlin in the XBOX division.
Memo will be representing the Houston Dynamo in the inaugural eMLS Cup tournament during this year's PAX East from Thursday, April 5 to Sunday, April 8.
